We attended a four hour child first aid course the other day - with Roman. I don't know why I thought there would be other children at the course, but turns out you're not really supposed to bring your kid along. Despite some loud talking and a little bit of a whine he did really well, and even managed to make a new friend.
And now we're all ready to apply first aid when he jumps from the top of the house and puts a bone through his arm so it nearly has to be amputated, just like his dad.
