Roman attended his first protest today.
Between 40,000 and 50,000 people descended on Queen St to march against fat greedy wanker Gerry Browlee's agenda to mine our national parks and taonga. It was heartening to see so many people giving a shit, but also a good reminder that 30,000 people turned up to protest GE in 2003 and yet here we are, front page of the paper today, three mutant cows die in a horrific GE experiment carried out to see "whether animals produce human proteins in their milk."
There is also the very likely probability the mining issue is being used as a red herring to distract the population from all the other abuses this fascist government is carrying out under urgency. Almost makes Thatcher look like Bo Peep.
